Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar Sexual Harassment Controversy: Actress Gets NO SUPPORT From Horn 'Ok' Pleassss Team

Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar sexual harassment controversy doesn’t seem to be dying down. After accusing Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on national TV, there’s a twist in the tale. You may recall, we had brought to you Tanushree’s sexual assault story,  where she recalled an incident of her being sexually abused back in 2008. Later, when the actress spoke to Zoom TV she revealed the name of that person and it was Nana Patekar.

But looks like, their mudslinging controversy has taken a different twist. Tanushree, who was shooting for Horn 'Ok' Pleassss in 2008, had claimed that Nana Patekar made her uncomfortable to such an extent that she had them decided to opt out of the song. Now, the director Rakesh Sarang and choreographer Ganesh Acharya have lambasted at the actress. Not in so many words, but the duo is saying that she is lying.

Talking to Mid-day, Sarang said, "Tanushree is saying that Nathni Utaro [the title of the song] was a solo dance that she rehearsed for. In that case, she must have heard the song during the rehearsals itself. Why doesn't she remember that the song had a male voice too? It was always supposed to be a duet song." Sarang further stated, "Dutta Misjudged Nana's encouragement. He was shooting for a song after many years, so he was excited about it. She misjudged everything, including his encouragement. See, if your boss wants to flirt with you, he won't do it in a public area; he will invite you to his cabin. There were around 400 people on the set that day. Will anybody take advantage in front of 400 people?"

Choreographer Acharya too has denied Tanushree’s allegations and told News18, “First of all, it’s a very old incident so I can’t really recall everything very clearly. But it was a duet song as far as I remember. Something did happen that day because the shooting was also stalled for over three hours. There was some sort of misunderstanding. But I can confirm that nothing this sort of happened. It’s a wrong statement that Nana ji called members of some political party on set. It never happened.”

There is a lot more on this. We caught up with Tanushree, last evening and she opened a can of worms. We shall bring that to you in a couple of hours from now. Don’t do anywhere.
